Hey! I need some good recipes/ideas for yummy Christmas desserts that are diabetic friendly, and so far I haven't found a whole lot....One recipe I use is already sugar free- not specifically for a diabetic but it works out that way...but I can't think of anything else. Any ideas? Thanks!
Greater Value (walmart brand) has a brown sugar, sugar substitute combo with a recipe on the back for cookies (I added chocolate chips or other regular sugared chips) and my dads blood sugar did great. He was actually in the hospital for a stroke and he was ok'd to eat them and he said his sugar stayed right where it should have.
ETA and I like them more than reg sugared cookies...they are so fluffy!
I know it's not a really a Christmas recipie but I found and made a DELICIOUS sugar free pecan pie for Thanksgiving this year and it tasted soo good,I have been a diabetic for almost 2 years now...
