I think him texting her to calm her was innocent. I think she did it for attention, though. We all have our moments.

If she had said that to him and you later found out she had done something to harm herself would it have changed your mind? The fact that your SO said he wasn't supposed to talk to her first thing is good. Whether she really meant what she was saying or not, who knows. Did you overreact? Maybe but I'd probably have done the same damn thing, lol.

He's just too nice for his own good. I'm not used to it.

He told you about it which shows he understands your concern. I would just be mindful of that next time. Especially with the relationship being new you could push him away if it becomes more of an issue.

This may be one of his emotional characteristics you really come to love. Try not to get too mad at him about it, Seems like you two haven't been together too terribly long. Just be glad you found a nice man!! There aren't alot left

It doesn't sound like he's too sore about it! Water under the bridge, hahaha. Me & my hubby have little tiffs like that and it is just one of those things. I disagree, he doesn't... Boohoo we get over it and move on, lol... Just don't beat him up too bad about it ; )
