Getting tubes tied.

I have an appointment to talk to my OB/GYN about getting my tubes tied 12/12/12 (Haha, too cool).
I'm not...Really vibing on it though. I want more children some day, but the pregnancy with LO just did so much damage to my body to the point I'm not sure my body can handle another pregnancy. I'm going to talk to my doctor and see if he thinks my body would be able to handle another pregnancy considering the medical problems I had while pregnant, and the medical problems I have because of the pregnancy.
I'm just kind of bummed because if he says no go, I'm tying my tubes. I owe it to the child I have to be safe...I mean, I'd love to adopt but I don't know. I think maybe it would kind of hurt my feelings to know that if I just wanted to get pregnant some day when I'm ready, I couldn't, but I don't want the option if it isn't safe.

I don't have any doubts. If the doctor says he has doubts my body can handle it, even the slightest, I'm tying them. I have to stay safe for the son I already have.
It'll bum me out pretty seriously, but that's the way I want it.

This is true. You have to sign the paperwork 30 days in advance. During my section my dr asked me again if i was certain i wanted it done.

There is the possibility he may say that my body can handle it, but I highly doubt it. I've already pretty much accepted that he's going to say it can't. I just hate it. But, it's the right thing to do.

yah i regret not getting mine tied i dont want any more im sure of it but SO may one day so i got paraguard.
