Breastfeeding Question, kinda tmi :/

posted 26th Nov
so for this baby i am determined to breast feed for at least 6 months. for my son i couldnt breast feed past a month and a half because i started having gallbladder attacks and then had surgery to remove it. the only problem is, the doctors told me i have inverted (sp?) nipples which makes it hard to breast feed. so i was wondering if nipple shields help with this? i also am going to pump.
any mommas that are in a similar situation, how did you breastfeedxand what was your experience?

Yeah I was told I have the same and they gave me nipple shields. I have not used them yet and am still figuring out breast feeding myself. But just figured I would say your not the only one. I believe the shields are supposed to help our nipples but I am not positive.

I think pumping will help draw your nipples out as well.
