Thats not the case here. If you have to switch before your checks run out, they take the old ones and give you new ones.

Yeah, I knew they didn't give you the full amount you would need. It helps a lot though. The twins I used to take care of got WIC, and their mother told me she had to buy a few extra cans a month.

at mine they print black checks in place of the formula and you can get formula pretty quick. they told me to call at any time or walk in if i couldnt breastfeed. they give you tons of extra stuff like 6 cans of tuna all the normal milk cheese and eggs that you would have gotten while pregnant. it really is a life saver for me and has helped me stay healthy while i nurse

Really. With my second pregnancy they always said they can't help unless its the scheduled date.
