No Sew Blankets

posted 26th Nov
How much do they cost to make? I wanna make one for my sister, my cousin, my FIVE SIL's, My LO and possibly my mom.

So.. if I wanna do diffrent fabric for each one or so.. how much do you think it will cost?

Also any tips or GOOD tutorial videos.. or links??
I'm pretty slow, and not very "crafty" so I really don't have a clue how to do this.

Do you mean the double sided fleece tie blankets?

The ones I have made cost about 30 to 40 dollars to make but that is because they were all NCAA football team fleece which they charge a lot more for.

If you are just using one plain color and a print fabric you could make it for around 15 to 20.

depends on the quality of fabric you get. I've made them for as cheap as $20.. and as much as $60.

I made one for my son and it cost about $25 dollars. But it's big enough for me. Lol.

It just depends on the cost of the fabric itself. I assume you mean the tie blankets, like these?

And they're REALLY easy to make. You make cuts every inch, two inches down all the way around the blanket. And then you literally tie two pieces of fabric together in knots at the fringe you just cut.

JoAnn's. Wal-Mart even if yours has a fabric department.

They are pretty easy to make. I am not very crafty and mine turned out great. Here is a link to a tutorial.

They are very comfortable and warm!

Sorry if this sounds dumb. But how many blankets will 1 yard of fabric make?   If I was just using said fabric for 1 side?

I was making adult blankets and used 2 yards of each fabric. So each side was 2 yards.
