Spermicide?

So I got pregnant with my first child because our condom failed when we had sex during my fertile days. Well, after the baby we were thinking of different methods of birth control to prevent it from happening again. I do plan to keep charting and avoiding fertile days but that probably won't happen some cycles because we might want to do it anyways. Has anyone tried spermicide? what is the best brand? I want to combine it with something else just in case, I'm not up for any method that uses hormones... I hate it. IUD's sounds nice but I want to see if I'm allergic to copper before I try it and after my cycles have gone back to normal from PP.

I can't do hormones either. I plan to do charting + diaphragm with no spermicide (I'm allergic to spermicides on condoms and don't want to risk getting yeast infections by putting chemicals up my vagina either---I don't like to mess with the natural balance).

It has been some years since used spermicide and I don't know the brand but there were like these film sheets that you insert ad let it dissolve for like 10 min or so before intercourse. The draw back to those is the sit and wait thing .. kills the mood . But it was nice because it wasnt as messy as gels were

I was thinking of doing the same thing except using spermicide and condoms for my fertile days of charting. We've been talking about it and don't get me wrong I love my daughter and she's not even here yet but I can't risk another child because I really want to go back to school afterwards. My df doesn't like condoms because he's uncut and can barely feel but I have no problem with them. Now were trying to find a good condom for uncut men, I'm going to use the VCF for spermicide on top.

You just read my mind!! lol I'm totally going with those since they seem discreet and less messy plus with charting. Thank you !
