Ultrasound update.

I didn't get any pics (well, one, but it sucks so bad that I haven't bothered taking a pic).

My cervix is 7.5 cm---my doc was in shock. Apparently that's like un-heard-of long. My doc is thrilled   Even still, we scheduled my cerclage for Dec 18th to stitch me up so my awesome cervix gets stitched way up high so that we don't have any risks of losing this one  

Baby looked good. Sleeping peacefully the whole time (the ultrasound was about 3 minutes long, so we didn't see much). Because baby was so still (quite unlike last time), we did manage to get a look at the baby's crotch region. Nothing definitive, but I've seen a LOT of little weenies on the screen and I saw nothing that even resembled one of those. The tech confirmed that she thought she saw the beginnings of THREE LINES.

So, we're all very intrigued to know if its a solid guess. For now, the guess is GIRL! Crazy. I can't even wrap my head around the idea of a girl after almost 4 years with my little man. How strange!   Next ultrasound is on Dec 18th to check my cervix before/after the surgery and doc said he'd give me a clear answer then  

Great news!!! I have been wondering how things were going with you. Sounds like this one is a super sticky baby, yay!!!

This bean seems sticky. Every time I start feeling paranoid today because I've NEVER had a baby be that perfectly still during an ultrasound, I get a big kick today. I sure do love this baby   Totally unpredictable. I love the crazy babies  

Smidget was a big time early-morning dancer. Deagan was all about the night-time waltzes. This baby likes the night time kung fu fighting, HATES a full bladder, and fights my keyboard on the laptop, really hates when I sneeze, and is just totally odd.

Possible! I still have zero preference and wouldn't be upset if nextt ime I go in and they say boy.

My best friend has been DYING for me to have a girl since I got pregnant with Smidget 4 years ago and now that its possible, she's DETERMINED to have a good job (she's unemployed after just graduating from Law School in May and passing the Bar Exam in September). She said its not allowed for me to have a girl unless she can afford to buy lots of things, haha.
