Hair loss

I'm 28 weeks pregnant and my hair is falling out like crazy... Like everywhere. I think I'm going to be bald by the time I have my son. I thought your supposed to grow more hair when your pregnant. Same thing happend when I was pregnant with DD...but not this bad !

2. Mine is, too   And my hair is short, so I haven't got much to spare, lol! It gets better, though.
Only advice I have that I've found helps me; don't comb/brush your hair when you get out of the shower. Just finger brush it until it dries and then take a brush/comb to it. Your hair is more sensitive and brittle when it's wet.

Yeah my hair is coming out in chunks when I get outta the shower... Good idea I won't brush it. All my hair came back after DD but I don't remember loosing this much agh   its depressing

They have spray by paul michell I think that how you spell it. And it has alot vitamins in it. Helps alot with that and makes your hair healthier.

Oh cool. I like Paul Mitchell products   I'll look into maybe getting some of that

Have you had your thyroid checked?

Same here, my hair is falling out as well. They say its suppose to get all thick and nice. I feel like im going bald LOL

I thought I was the only one with this problem! The prenatal vitamins have done NOTHING for my hair.....but the nails are super long and amazing  

mine was falling out like crazy for a while until i switched to a sulfate free shampoo and conditioner. loreal has them for somewhat cheap at places like walmart. the hair loss thing is normal though, and will get better with time.

Mine was falling out really bad for a while around 18 to I'd say 26 weeks. Then stopped suddenly. And we might be due date buddies after my next apt! Lol my doc wants to change it on me again.   Good luck. Btw it may get worse after baby comes, so just keep taking your vitamins. My doctor told me it was normal. Definitely didn't feel normal when I felt like I was going bald.
