Black & blue spots on FF infants tongue

Anybody delt with this? My niece has them, randomly popped up.
They're black & blue spots, only on her tongue.

She's going to tomorrow, but said when she's asked about it before, they just say its normal...but she's a bit freaked out by it so I figured I'd ask here.
