WIC is a nutrition program. They are ALWAYS going to tell you something is wrong with your kid, and how to fix it. Just let it go in one ear and out the other and listen to your gut and the pediatrician. Your daughter looks fine and her height/weight seems perfectly proportionate.

They are dumb, and everytime I took my daughter when I had wic they were off by lbs. and they aren't doctors sooooo who are they to tell you.

Nope she looks fiine! The people at the WIC offices are know it alls, and stupid IMO. They never seem to be happy with ANY child's weight....I hate them!

Thanks so much everyone! I thought they were crazy.   They also bitched at me for not feeding her as much as I "should" be. She just doesn't eat that much, I can't force feed her.

So basically they told me I don't feed her enough yet she is overweight. Lol.

  this. When I had wic they told me I should only gain 10lbs during my pregnancy because I was obese   I was only 4lbs over normal weight according to BMI. My doctor said they were crazy. They also tried to tell me to put my breastfed child on a diet and then gave me dirty looks and told me I needed to wean him at 1.5 years old.

Uber smurfed up comment imo. She's fine, she's adorable!

Not at all and don't worry. That woman is out of her mind.

That doesnt make no sense at all they said she is overweight but that you dont feed her as much. Lmao wtf.

I don't think so! WIC people are crazy. They told me my daughter was overweight AFTER her own pedi thought she should gain a little weight   my daughter is 10 months and 18 pounds and 27 and 1/2 inches long.
