discharge question TMI

How can I tell if the discharge I am having EWCM or semen? DH and I have been having a lot of sex and I thought I O'd last week since I was having cramping but I can't if I have had EWCM because we have been having so much sex.

Semen, in my experience is more slimy for the first day or two and then it practically becomes water, EWCM looks a bit like water but when you check it with your fingers it actually has a bit of a stretchiness to it
