how far along are you?.. i would rest, lay in bed and take it easy with drinking a lot of water! NICU is NOT fun. bake your baby as long as you can!..

How early?

Not really. If they're early enough to need to be in the NICU then the NICU will supply what they need. If they aren't in the NICU than perhaps just some preemie clothes. You just really don't know what they might need until they're born.

Thats a good question and im sorry i can answer cause im not really sure but if ur LO is premature im sure they will have everything he or she needs except his/her clothes... But u know u can be dilated at a 3 for weeks though...

Did your doctor specifically say you were going to be in labor soon? Because people can stay dilated at a 3 or 4 for weeks. I wouldn't worry just yet. Just take it easy and pack just in case. Clothes for baby, clothes for you, toiletries, makeup (if you want), camera, iPod?, slippers or flip flops, everything else will most likely be provided for you and the baby.

I was dilated to 4cm and 70% effaced at 35 weeks.
I didn't have my son until 39 weeks 3 days.

Just because your dialated doesn't mean your going to go into labor any time soon.

Quoting Brianne Purcell:" I'm 34 weeks"

34 weeks? I wouldn't really worry then. Lots of people dilate that early. Take it easy and you'll likely make it to 37 weeks just fine.

My doctor told me he doesn't think It'll be much longer.... I was in a wreck and he thinks thats whats causing me to dilate and what not, but hopefully she can wait around a little longer lol
