Doctor might induce

I went to my appointment today. I've been three cms since last Monday, baby has dropped and in position. So the doctor said if dont have the baby by Monday dec 3 then she's going to set a date to be induced. What are some of your experiences for you ladies that have been induced?

36 hours in labor... On pit for 30 of those hours. LONG HARD contractions. If I could do it again I would wait.

It was a long labor and it ended w/ a csection.

Well I hope he comes by Monday. Sounds like a bad experience.

when's your due date?

with DS my water broke and so they started pitocin right away.

this time i'm not making much progress and don't want to induce until after her due date.

i think if your body is ready... inducing can go smoothly. if your body isn't ready it will probably be loooooong and painful.

It depends. My first was scheduled on due date. 4 hours of hard labor, epi didn't work, baby got stuck in birth canal (descended too fast) & came out bruised and a hematoma on head (not come head).
2nd one my water broke exactly 38 weeks. Wasn't progressing after about 5 hrs. Gave me pitocin, epidural was amazing but stopped labor. Increased pit which helped. Once I got pass the 4cm I was stuck at forever everything went smooth.
