STD question

Is there a STD that can mock the symptoms of a yeast infection? Or how long can a yeast infection last?

Well, i have had bv a ton this pregnancy and its sort of like a yeast infection

BV (bacterial vaginosis) I've heard is like a hulked out yeast infection that seems to stay and linger because people treat it like a YI when really you need antibiotics.

Can you just go and get a test just for this or is it a routine pap? Is it worse than a yeast infection?

You have to make an appointment because they have to get a swab and do a culture check (to confirm a YI and/or BV). I guess it differs for everyone in terms of what's worse than what.
