very pissed off (vent)

right where do i start, i decided to take a visit over to my parents today after work, my parents asked me to get my brother outta his room so he can do his log book for unemployment, anyway he sits there saying "i dont need to do it, i dont care if i dont get a job, i got a roof over my head!" that smurfing comment pissed me right off, he's basically sitting on his fat ass all day whilst me and my parents work our asses off to keep his ass under a roof, i even give my bloody parents money for food, but he doesn't he buys video games, no contribution to the house, little smurfer, i'm so smurfing raged right now. he does nothing for my parents, my mum brings the food to him, not him collecting, little fat bastard...

i cant stand this smurf, i know its not my right to vent but seriously, we're all paying taxes so people like him can sit on there asses all day   it makes me so angry  

how old is he? sounds like you need to talk to your parents

That's how my mil/fil treat our nephew. He's 20 now and it's been 3 years since he dropped out of school to take care of his baby (which he has never done anything for and rarely sees now). He hasn't done smurf for himself in 3 years. MIL brings him food in his room and takes care of everything while he steals and now has over 15 tattoo's (all accumulated in the last 3 years). Mil/fil have spent over $25k each on both our nephews (whom are both over 20 now) and they have NOTHING to show for it.

They need to kick him out.

I have a 20 yr old brother and it pisses me off and saddens me how he is turning out. He graduated , has a high school diploma and doesn't want to do anything but mooch off everyone around him and has even gotten very lazy with his looks and hygiene. I am in shock when I see him bc we were soooooo raised better than that. There isn't nothing me or you can really do, if our Moms put up with it what can we do? My bro works nights on the weekends( Fri & Sat)at a small night club and makes 40-60$a night and blows it the next day within hours and then has no money for his personal stuff and ciggs, I am very disappointed and heartbroken but there isn't nothing I can do. He lives in a camper ( that my moms boss owns ) behind my moms house and his rent is 25$ a week and he is behind on that and he never keeps $ for his NEEDS....I just don't know what to do :-/ My mom is heartbroken by it too but she keeps letting him mooch off her. Nothing I can do.

tbh if it was up to me he's be out in no time, he's smurfed up his future, he had really good grades, but he's chose this path which honestly is a waste of time, it winds me up i hope my sister is better than him, she's doing well in school, she will get far, but my brother i dont think he will

yeah i noticed my brothers hygiene is horrible too, he stinks of BO hardly showers, only showers when he "feels" like it, thats what he said anyway

me too, i wanna see him be successfull, i work for my money, he doesn't hell we all work for our money, he doesn't he needs to get his act straight fast or he's gonna be like this for his life

I think he still has plenty of time to come around. When I was 17 I was so immature. I mean I still had a job but that's because I smoked pot and wanted clothes, gas money for my friends etc and my parents never gave me a penny.
My mom kicked me out when I was 18 because I wouldnt follow her stupid freaking 10pm curfew and I just stayed with friends for a few months until she let me move back in.
Right before I turned 19 I got the job I currently have now(been almost 5 years) and got an apartment and a car.

So yeah, a lot changed in a year or two for me.

Basically my point was that at his age if they make his life easy he's not going to budge. As soon as he has no money for video games, nobody to do his laundry, strict rules etc he will realize he needs to get off his ass and change his life.

I guess my mom just REALLY needs to stop letting him mooch off her so much bc as long as she allows it then he knows he can blow his $ all he wants bc she will be there to take care of his needs but she has a hard time telling him no and I understand but she has to draw the line somewhere.
