Does your 2 year old still sleep in a crib?

Poll above( Yes or No )

My son turned two the first week of November and he still sleeps in a crib. He does not know how to climb out of it/does not even attempt. JW!

She sleeps in her toddler bed or in our bed. She's slept in a toddler bed since she was 14 months because she started to climb out.

With my 1 yr old he'll sleep in it til whenever he tries to climb out too

Mine does. She has a toddler bed set up too ( we are working on it) but she prefers her crib still. I'm whatever about it. I figure she'll move to the bed when shes ready!

DD is almost 4 but she slept in hers until after 3. If they are comfy and can't get out then leave em, it will never be the same after they can get up. Some nights I would kill for her to still be in the crib

My son sleeps in my bed some nights too. That is what I am planning on doing with him...I will move him out of his crib when he tries to climb out! I just thought it was weird that my son has not tried to climb out yet because he is VERY risky and adventurous lol.

Ok..that is what I figured. I am happy he has not tried to climb out yet as well. It's peace of mind lol. My friend has a 1 1/2 year old who knew how to climb out so they got her a toddler bed. She got up in the middle of the night when everyone was sleeping and flooded the bathroom. (She knows how to climb the gates too.) She got door locks after that night lol. But my son is crazy wild so I am glad I dont have to worry about that..yet. lol

My son co slept until he was like 6 months. Then he was in his crib majority of the time/some middle of the nights in my bed. At 2 years old, he still wakes up in the middle of the night just to come to my bed. I'm totally to blame for this lol. I mean I have made it accustomed(sp) for him to wake up in the middle of the night to come sleep in mine by allowing it. I love/hate sleeping with him. I love having him next to me... but he is a bed hog like most kids and is very uncomfortable to sleep with. I would like if he slept in his bed til the morning. I know he CAN because he does it at random lol.

Lol yeah my son sleeps in his bed fine but we miss him when he does.
SO always complains about our son kicking him and being a bed hog but then when he's not in bed with us he says he can't sleep lol

My LO is now almost 5. At that age he kept climbing out of the crib, so I tried the toddler bed, he ended up rolling out of bed all the time. I put a full sized mattress on the floor, and he slept on that until he was 4, around his 4th birthday, I got him a twin, and he stays in it 99% of the time.

Christopher has been in a toddler bed since 16 months old. We did this because our old apartments had LOTS of fires (14 in the two years we lived there) so we did it for his safety of getting out quickly if need-be. He transitioned fine after a rough week of being confused and falling out of the bed a few times. He loved being a "big boy", but we also had issues him climbing out of the crib here and there so that was the other reason. Upon moving into our new home back in July, we got him a twin sized bed that'll be a beast of a bed if we ever have to move it out move in general. We went to American Furniture Warehouse to get it. He sleeps better now in the twin than he did in the toddler bed so if and when the time comes to get him a bigger bed, skip the toddler bed and move him right to a twin or full.

my son technically won't be 2 til december, but he's been out of his crib since he was about 14 months. no reason, he never tried to climb out or anything, we just tried it out one night and he didn't have a problem so we never looked back and he's been in a toddler bed ever since.

Thanks. My mom said she never put me and my siblings in toddler beds either..straight to twin size bed. I was not sure if I should skip right to a twin but reading this, I prob. will. I hope he will sleep better in it...well when we do switch. He always wakes up in the middle of the night to sleep in my bed.

BTW, thats scary about the fires! I would have been nervous as well and did the same!
