re: Unusual names you like, but no one else does

I love Calliope but I feel like I'm the only one who does. Seems most don't know how to pronounce it if they see it or if I say it they just smile and nod.

Aphrodite
Penelope and I don't know why, it's not even that unusual.
Achilles
Calypso
Delia

Dovahkiin. haha. Hubby suggested it as a joke if we ever have a boy, but I really like it. Even as a middle name.

I've liked it since I was little. It's in the bible. And that song is so annoying. They're talking about Otis redding. They re did his song and ruined it.

I love that name too! Then, Grey's Anatomy made it more common. I have 2 friends with daughters named Calliope.
