8weeks PP stretch mark advise.
posted 26th Nov
it's been 8 weeks since I had Dexter by Emergancy C-Section. and although I used all differnt stretch mark creams and oils and kept myself hydrated during pregnancy I still got 100s of stretch marks (i'm putting a picture up because everyone says "oh they can't be that bad!" lol) anyway, they have lightened.... but still majorly there! I'd love some advice on how to help them lighten a bit more. i know they're never gonna go completly. I'm just finding it so hard to feel good with the light on! cheers ladies. xx

They will lighten as time goes on, it's only been 8 weeks! It seems bio-oil has helped mine lighten, but they're still there. You look GREAT though!

They will fade drastically over time. Mine looked like that when I had my son two years ago. They are all white and shinny looking now. They fade. They looked better this summer then last summer.

Sadly, only time will lighten them. I have giant purple ones on my hips and ass. They've faded a lot in the last almost 4 years. I think it was 6mos pp when they were hardly noticeable

Coconut oil works great for helping them fade
Just pure coconut oil. They sell it at health food stores and things like that. I never used the butters and lotions bc of the thickness so idk if it works better or not, but i had stretch marks prior to pregnancy that were purple and i can hardly see them now.

I used Mederma, its kind of expensive but oh does it ever help! I got it at walmart 12 ounces for $10.00 (actually I think it was $8.99) but I used it generously (three times a day) for the first week and then lightened up (once or twice, and only half as much at a time), I am three weeks pp and all of mine are faded to barely noticeable, and they did look a lot like yours to begin with! I also use a tummy cincher to hold me in (kind of like Spanx)

If it helps mine are starting to fade away and i haven't put anything on them at all.

yea i used supports at the begining to hold me in but it's started to stop wobbling as much now. lol. that mederma seems more expensive over here too i'm off out christmas shopping today so i'll have a look see what i can find. x

I am not sure if you can get it over in the UK but I LOVE scar zone! I just barely bought it I'm 1week pp almost 2 but I know it works! I had surgery when I was 11 and I received my first stretchmarks on my stomach I used this and it helped so much! I'm excited to start using it again! Also if you don't mind start using a tanning bed! but don't forget to use Tanning lotion!

tanning lotion and tanning bed? what would that do?
Tannings never been my thing, i've always been well pale and would look awfully strange with a tan! lol x

Once you start lightening them if you get a tan/using a tanning bed and use tanning lotion its helps lighten them even furthur Before I got pregnant they were completely gone you could only tell I had them when you were up super close.
