Implanon Question

So I have my appointment to get my implanon inserted in a hour and a half.
They said I had to be on my period and they would do a pregnancy test. Scheduled it for today because I usually start the Monday after I take out my Nuvaring. Well here I am and I have the cramping and I can feel that I'm going to start my period today if not tomorrow.
My question is. If they do the pregnancy test and it comes back negative will they still insert the implanon even though I haven't really started my period?

Mine never required me to be on my period, they just gave me a pregnancy test and put it in.

They did mine when I wasn't on mine, most likely they will do a ultrasound just in case

I wasn't on my period nor did they have to do a pregnancy test.. but anyway, they're not going to check you're on your period, so I wouldn't worry!

Yes but i've been on the Nuva Ring for 3 months so I know im not pregnant.

Well, nuva ring isn't 100% effective, as no birth control, not even implanon is.
Mine never required me to be ON my period, I just took a test there
