my mom had said she wanted to buy my baby girls crip and i was okay with that. well i picked it out and everything and my SO and i were planning on buying the matress buy ourselves. This wwekend i went to visit my friend and her 5 month old son in the hospital because he was sick. when i came home my uncle he was visting with his two sons was gone with my mom. i found out when i had left that day he an my mom went to the store and got the crib and mattress for me and he had bought it(its supposed to be a christmas present and im not supposed to let anyone i know lol). He is a retired military and we haven't really got along, the last time i saw him we had got in a fist fight on the back deck. but it made me realize how much he loves my daughter and i. Sorry its kinda long i just wanted to express how much i feel loved right now (:

Ehh, I got into a fist fight with a male in my family too and was even taken to jail and charged. My step-grandpa to be exact. Were on good terms. I've grown up a lot since the whole incident though!
But, to me, someone buying me something doesn't mean they love me lol but I guess it's different for everyone.
were not really good at showing how we feel towards one another and its really hard for him to tell me that he loves me. and with him and his PTSD he has brain damage 100 percent so its really hard to get him to talk. and yea fist fight with males are pretty fun though. i have had a fist fight with him and my brother. but its okay because we are on good terms now. i didn't tell him i still needed the crib or anything my mom just told him she was saving up for it. and he deiceded its my birthday and christmas present.
