My daughter has been peeing on the toilet during the day for months now, still in diapers at night.she wears underwear during the day, diaper at night.
but she will not poop on the toilet. She poops in her underwear every single day. I ask her if she needs to, put her on the toilet....nothing.
Please give me advice..

Does she poop around the same time everyday?
DD's doctor suggested that I sit her on the potty for 10 minutes, every single day around the time she usually poops. If she doesn't poop at the same time everyday, then right after a meal (we did it after lunch). Don't let her have books, toys, etc. because she needs to become aware of what you're trying to get her to do. In addition to this 10 minutes, any time you notice she is trying to go, rush her onto the potty for 5 minutes.
It took a couple weeks but DD now goes regularly in the potty.

I had this same exact issue- It helps to know when your LO has to go poopy- mine likes to hide and leave the room , so I watched for this , I encouraged him with Teddy Graims and stickers of sponge bob for everytime he started going poop in the big boy potty and told him when he gets 5 stickers etc. we would go to Mc donald's which he loves and does not get much of ..It worked ...He was horrified to poop still not sure why!! LOL

My DD did the same thing for a long time. She'd pee in the potty and wear underwear all day, even to sleep sometimes, but would NOT poop in the potty. She'd go hide and poop in her underwear. You could try a sticker chart or give her M&M's. One for pee, two for poop.
I explained to her that everyone poops and it's okay to poop but you have to do it in the potty. Dump the poop from her underwear in the potty and tell her that's where it goes.
It just takes time. Some longer than others, but she'll get there eventually. Good luck!

My DD will hide in her play room and poop and then will come and tell us she has to go potty. But DD still wont get on the potty or pull her pants up and down by herself

We did a sticker chart, and like 7 stickers in a row and she got to go to the store and pick something out under $10. We also did a tootsie roll for each poop.

We don't do candy but I will try stickers. And she doesn't hide. Just poops and walks around with a little poop tail.
This kid has no shame.lol
