You do not need to get up and clean. That stuff can wait. What's more important, a clean house or a healthy baby? Stay in bed. Rest. Get someone to help with your son. They don't put you on bed rest for no reason.

I can imagine how hard it would be to be on bed rest. I would seriously go stir crazy. Still you need to let yourself relax and stay in bed. Healthy baby is the number one priority.

I know it's hard, I was on bed rest for Polyhydramnios (too much amniotic fluid) towards the end of my pregnancy. I thought I'd go out of my mind.
Try and take the time to enjoy it though, because as you know, once that baby gets here there won't be any rest , bed or otherwise lol

I would bring your mom to your next OB appointment and have the doctor explain exactly what you are and are not allowed to be doing and exactly what kind of help you need. Bedrest is hard, I've done a lot of it, but your house can wait. Eventually everyone else in the house will get tired of the mess and do something about it even if it isn't to the standard you would want.
