SO is my only, I am like his 10th. We can't use some name because they are ex-girlfriends.

SO doesn't even know how many girls he slept with. He knows it isn't over twenty...lol. All from his younger years. Before me he hadn't had sex in over a year. He is also 8 years older than me, so his number is definitely higher.

DH was a virgin. I had slept with 15-20 women prior to dating him.

No men have a habit of exaggerating the amount they really sleep with. In a belief I guess that they think we care. Women on average I think have about 5 partners lifetime, but men admit to having 11. It's not mathematically possible.

Why is it assumed that the men are lying?

I went through the same thing, actually. I have half his numbers (15 to his 33, i think it was?) It drove me nuts when I picked a name I loved and he was like 'um...can't name her that...'

So yes, i know how many women he was with but that's mostly due to the fact that he was my best friend for five years before we ever started dating. I think most women either don't know or don't wanna know.

All of DH's ex's were named Alyssa, LOL. Good thing I don't like that name ;D
