Braxton Hicks

This might be a stupid question but can you get braxton hicks contractions in your back? I didn't have any bh with my first pregnancy but i've been getting them a lot with this pregnancy. Lately they've been in back. I had back contractions the whole time I was in labor with my son so I know it's not just my back aching. My friend told me you can't which is why i'm asking.

It could be the baby is just leaning more towards your back area to make it feel like all that pressure is in your back (and it sucks i know because my back hurts like a mofo) but contractions ( even braxton hicks) are in the front area below your belly button and you can feel it through out your ribs.....

That's what I had with my son. It does suck! I was hoping I wouldn't have to go through that again this time but it looks like I will./:

im pg with my 4th, with my first 3 it was all back labor.. I've been getting bh in my back with this one so im sure when i am in labor it will be back labor also. i was told back labor is caused by the way the baby is laying.
