Early Labor

What are the signs of the beginning stages of labor? Just curious if i'm just super uncomfortable, or if i may be starting to go into the early stages of labor.

I felt crampy and gassy a lot was having contractions on and off sure enough I had contractions when I went to get induced bfore the pitocin.

Light Contractions and nausea. I kind of felt that icky feeling when I start my period.

See, i'm not sure if what i'm feeling are contractions. I just feel like i have my period, but i never got actual cramps or anything when i got my period. I'm nauseous, have really bad pain in my back, and have that smurffy pms feeling.

How soon was this before your labor?

Lately, I've been having extreme pain and pressure in my lower regions and cervix, weird poop, and honestly feeling like I'm about to start my period....But I'm obviously not.

I've lost my apetite, loose stools, contractions on and off that are timeable and then just stop, back ache, period type cramps. I'm pretty sure this is prelabor symptoms. i have an appointment in the AM so I'm going to talk to doc.

Um about 8 hours before I gave birth (my labor lasted 8 hours). I also had just had my bloody show.

Gah, now i'm worried :/
Its too soon to go into labor!

I don't really have a answer to your question but i wonder the same thing. i have had pressure on my cervix throughout pregnancy but it's getting so intense the last few days. any of you ladies having this since we are all so close to the same due date?

Yup. And the pain in my back is getting unbearable. I can barely get up and around.

Sometimes my cervix feels like it's going to rip open.

mine too >.<

I remember doing this for like 2 weeks with DS1 but he was beig stubborn and refused to get in position. I ended up delivering him face up and breakin his collar bone.

This is me to!! I also have Nooo energy at all... I thought it was maybe me coming down with a virus or something.. I hope its not labor for me I'm only 31 weeks :'( and my back hurts soo bad I can hardly go.from the laying down position to the sitting position,I also have to limp/waddle just to walk..
