5 weeks after an abortion

I had my abortion at 12 weeks and 5 days and i think i got my period a week ago lasted 6 days and the whole time it was real heavy bleeding had to wear two pads at the same time. and two days later it starts again the same way....is this normal? it this a period or what! im so confused. i will be making my appt tommorrow for my after abortion check up

yes they told me i should expect a period in 4- 6 weeks. but its starting up again

its normal...expect your period to be out of whack for a few months..could be heavier or lighter
