When did your LO

posted 25th Nov
Roll over? My LO is 4 months old and when he's laying on his belly he gets mad because he he can't roll over. Last night he was laying on a blanket one minute he was on his belly the next on his back. DH says LO rolled over by hisself but I think he had help. So. Should he be rolling over now? He is spoiled and held all the time (I know bad mommy but we are working on breaking the habit) so am I keeping him from learning by holding him constantly?

Mine turned 3 months today and has been rolling from tummy to back for about a week. I do about 30 minutes of tummy time a day.

You're fine, hold that baby! You can't spoil a baby and I've never heard anyone complain that they held their baby too much. All babies learn at a different place, but maybe try a little tummy time every day while you lay on the floor and talk to him.

DD would roll to her back by 3-4 months, but she didn't roll over all the time until 5-6 months. That was her preferred way to get around. lol idk if she was late rolling. If she was it was our fault. we almost never put her down. lol

My parents yell at me because I hold him all the time and he freaks out of he's put down. Like he will sit in his exercise bouncer for about 30 minutes to an hour but after that, you can't put him down till he takes a nap and wake back up. But I think we are going to start a tummy time routine at night because DH LOVES to get in the floor and play with him

He just loves his momma.   tell them to shush, he's been in your womb for the past 9 months, so he's used to being with you every moment of the day. It's a big job adjusting to the outside world! I hardly ever put my DD down, when I do, I'm right there interacting with her. Don't let them make you feel bad for giving him tons of love and attention. ;)

Lol that he does!! He is my little man (: Since I'm a SAHM he spends all day every day with me and we don't have the money to drive 30 minutes to my parents house to see them on a regular basis so he kind of freaks out around them. My MIL normally goes to sleep as soon as she gets home from work and is drinking as soon as she gets up saturday morning so he doesn't spend a whole lot of time over there with her and FIL so the same thing ahppens then. I think he's just not use to seeing them so it seems like he is spoiled, if that makes any sense lol

I don't think LO is going to crawl. Doesn't matter if hes laying down on you or if you are like holding up to your face, his legs are ALWAYS out sraight and trying to support himself. He wants to walk already lol

I diddnt think Tiberius was ever gonna crawl either lol one thing I have learned is that it does not matter when a baby does things they will progress and they will do it on their own time and in their own way..... Tiberius never really rolled, then he started army crawling then one day out of the blue got up off his belly and sat up from there he pulled to stand and started walking along while holding things.... and now within the last week or so he has started crawling .... babies are crazy like that
