Not to my knowlegde. I really dont want to be but if I was this is what I would do. We felt like we needed to talk about it since I dont trust BC, haha, and we have sex almosy daily.

Implanon is more than 99% effective...if you got pregnant on the IUD, it was most likely a fluke. The odds of it happening again are slim to none. But if you're really that paranoid, use a condom on top of the BC. You shouldn't be fighting about a hypothetical baby...

This early on you could do the pill and it is much cheaper.

I think you're missing the part where she's not pregnant, and she already has the Implanon. You're telling her to get a more effective form of birth control but we don't even know that this one isn't effective...the only more effective form of birth control, IMO, is abstinence...

Did you have mirena? I have paragard and i love it. Hormone free. And going on almost 2 years and i havent gotten pregnant. I love it bc my cycles are regular. And i dont feel pregnant like on BC

No I had the paragard. It lasted a year and a half. I made me bleed horrible

It was partially directed at you...I did read the whole thread, and have been commenting all along. She stated she's not actually pregnant, just paranoid about it.

She said she's paranoid because she got pregnant on an IUD...she's talking about a different form of birth control. Implanon is not an IUD, it goes in your arm. When I asked if she got pregnant on Implanon, she responded, "no not yet."

Itas hard for me to not freak out about it. My IUD was in place and still got pregnant. I got it out right after I got my positive. I try not to think about it but its def a possibliltysince we do have sex and ive known people whos gotten pregnant on it. I know im being extra paranoid but eh its my problem. Haha

Yeah I understand that, I was just clarifying for them because they seemed to have missed that part. I would probably be paranoid too...But honestly there's not much more you can do apart from no sex :p

Her and I were talking about what we would do. She said she couldnt' afford it IF she was. I responded in kind about the pill being cheaper early in pregnancy. She said she thinks she is not that she isn't or that she is for fact.
