9 month old & formula

How much formula should my 9 mo old be drinking? Im trying to get her to eat mostly solids so what the very minimum of formula i have to give her and when do they get off of formula?
Cani give her water to wash down her baby food during feedings?

Why are you trying to get her off of formula? She needs it for proper brain development until at least a year. Food is not healthier for her.

Yes you can give water. But your baby still needs formula for brain devolpmrnt, I wouldn't try and replace that with solids. When my LO was 9 months she was still have 4 6 oz bottles a day sometime 8 oz

Formula or breastmilk is the main source of food for the first year. She needs more formula than solids.

& my daughter is drinking like 8 8oz bottles a day im really just trying to replace some of those bottles with solids so she gets used to real food

Don't replace the bottles with solids just give her some solids throughout the day.

Babies younger than a year old need AT LEAST 24-36 oz of formula a day regardless of what solid food they eat. It's their main source of nutrients etc. Solid food is a great added bonus but not a replacement. If you want you can still do 4 solid "meals" a day. but make sure they are getting a 6-8oz bottle every time.

Yes. Thats what im trying to do. She only has formula as of now and im going to introduce solids i just dont know how much to give her of each?

I gave my daughter four 4ozs of solids a day with a 6-8oz bottle or breastfeeding before giving solids.

My 9 month old take 4 8oz bottles a day. Sometimes he takes 5
