My girls are 2 and a half years apart, it was not planned. We are TTC now, and that will make my girls at least 7, and at least 4 when the next baby is born.

WOW!! see, this is exactly why I refuse to believe a doctor that tells a couple they will never conceive.

My eldest is almost 6, and my youngest is 3 and a half. But I am waiting on surgery, then I will have to wait about 3 months after that before we can continure to TTC. So we probably wont be able to start until my daughters 4th birthday.

When we got pregnant with my second my daughter was almost 1 and couple months and we had my son when she turn 2 and 1 month. And were pregnant with number 3 which was a complete surprise. So when this one born my son will be 2 1/2.

DS wasn't planned so early in our marriage but we figured once he was here, we would have our kids close in age so I could go back to school... started TTC when DS had his 1st birthday, had an early miscarriage 4 months later, and didn't get pregnant this time til about 2 months before DS's 2nd birthday... so our kiddos will be about 2 1/2 years apart.

Aw, thanks! At first I was disappointed it was taking so long to get & stay pregnant but now I realize that my son is at a great age to have a sibling -- he's easier to reason with and isn't as impulsive as he was last year, so hopefully things may go smoother with having two little ones.

Is he around other little kids a lot or babies?
You should probably get him around babies to see how he reacts/feels around them

I try to get him around other kids as often as possible, and he does well with other toddlers and older kids. He has only been around one or two babies -- he is excellent w/ my 2 month old nephew! He is so gentle and laughs & smiles when he gets to touch the baby or be near him. I'm hoping it will be the same way with his sibling but I also realize that when it's a baby that's here 24/7 (and one that takes Mommy's attention away at times) he may get frustrated or jealous and take it out on the newbie. He is a sweet kid overall but when he doesn't get his way, whoooo boy, you better step back because he can get pretty wild!

Just try your hardest to have him help you with anything he can or make it seem as if he is helping so he knows that he is involved and the baby isn't taking mommy's attention away from him completely!
I'm sure he'll love it
