I ask my husband all the time if he was raised by wolves... Sometimes I really question him. He says/does some of the stupidest things that he should just KNOW better than to, being a lifetime member of the human race and all. Lol

Ah I see, I read it as she didnt ask all week.

She still rude as hell and I'd be demanding he to fill the tank up the day she gets paid.

Also why the hell would they buy a stick shift if she won't/can't drive it ?

No. I explain it in my other posts, but this one I didn't go into detail. We live in a 1600 sq ft apt in my parent's basement, but they have two extra rooms upstairs and they let my sister and her wife move in up there last month, so yes we "live with them", but we have our own completed apt downstairs.

This is our house downstairs:

That's what I'm wondering. I'm thinking my sister figured she could teach her (which she can), but Shelly is just being a little bitch and refusing the learn/drive it. She just likes drama...

That's the other thing too. They keep coming down to our house and eating our food... I'm thinking, 'No. You live with my parents, upstairs, with THEIR food..." We buy all our own stuff, including our own groceries and I'm not going to pay to feed two adults.

That's so disrespectful. I would be hiding the keys and telling them figure it out themselves. Do you have a seperate entrance into your part of the house? I would check and see if your parents would let you guys put a doorknob with locks in. That way you wouldn't have to worry about them being all up in your personal space and eating all your food.

is there seperation between your apt and the rest of the house? like a door that locks or something?

Yes there is a door the leads upstairs, but it doesn't lock. They just walk down the stairs and come down and then will be like, "Hello?" or something like that so we know they're there. I told my mom I want to put an intercom at the top of the stairs so they can buzz if they want to come down and either I don't have to answer or I can intercom them and tell them it's not a good time.

yeah either tha or I would want a lock on the door. it would suck to have people just walking freely into your house whenever they wanted

Yeah sometimes it's okay, but like, my DH works nights, so they always come down and want to do smurf with me at night, but like, most times I just want to be left alone. My kids are in bed and that's my "me time".

kinda off topic. but im 21. my grandfather left me a stick shift in his will. it took me all of 2 days to learn to drive it ALL BY MYSELF. tell her to suck it up. its not that damn hard. if she doesnt have a choice in what she drives, then she will have no choice in learning to drive the car. like i did.

I've been following your posts about your SIL since you started posting them. Honestly, I don't even know her and I really dislike her. It seems as if she's ALWAYS unpleasant and displeased, especially if she's not getting her way. And even if she is it seems she's not happy with it.

I feel badly that you have to go through that and not get to spend the time with your family or that your "me time" is being invaded. You'd think she'd get a clue by now. And it seems that you always try to be nice towards her by including her. I would have lost it towards her by now. Especially with the assuming she does like with she did with your vehicle and taking advantage of you being a kind person.

Hopefully it gets better.

Exactly. That's why I'm saying she's being a little pussy about it. She just doesn't want to drive it. I learned to drive a stick when I was 16 and, same as you, it took me all of two days TOPS. I was perfect, but I could drive it.

She's just being a diva about the whole thing. She's extremely needy and wants to be "taken care of". She made my sister take her back and forth from work the entire first week, and then the first day my sister dropped her off, drove all the way home and we were supposed to go see a movie after that, but Shelly called and said her work pants were two small and she had to drive somewhere 25 miles away to get another pair of pants, so I told my sister we would just drop my car off to her so she could drive herself and we could still see the movie, but Shelly insisted that my sister come back, drive her to the pants place, take her back to work and THEN see a movie with me, so we ended up seeing the movie TWO HOURS LATER and then Shelly had the nerve to bitch on FB saying she feels left out because we're seeing Breaking Dawn and she's at work...   She had JUST SEEN IT with my sister the night before. I mean, GTFOI.

But anyway, THAT'S the kind of smurf she pulls. She wants everything to revolve around her and if someone, especially Ashley (my sister) is doing something that's doesn't involve her, then she wants to smurf it up.

Like Thanksgiving she had to work in the afternoon, so we all had dinner together then Shelly went to work. Well the rest of us started drinking and playing cards and my DH's family came over and we were just getting drunk playing Phase 10 listening to music. Well DH's family left and my sister and I were just talking and carrying on in the kitchen when Shelly walked in and she immediately got pissed off and laid into Ashley for no reason because she was annoyed that we were having a good time without her. Then when Ashley wouldn't immediately follow her into the room "to talk" (which would've been rude considering her and I were having a discussion) my SIL lied to my sister and was like, "Well I lost my job". She said that just to get a rise out of my sister and make her stay and talk. My sister called her out on it and walked away, but of course Shelly chased her and the argued the rest of the night, ruining our evening, which was of course Shelly's intention...

That's how immature she is. The smurf she does just doesn't make sense. I honestly think she's kind of a whack job...

Yeah I'm generally a nice person and I'm one of those people who has a really hard time saying no which hasn't been a problem because I don't have anyone in my life who tries to use me, until now, but I really feel used and honestly I feel like Shelly is using my sister too. Shelly was living with someone else when they met, not working, and then she has lived off my sister ever since. She's had like two fast food jobs in the last year, both of which she walked out on because she didn't feel like she had to put up with "their smurf". Well, news flash, when you work fast food jobs, there is a certain amount of "smurf" you kind of have to deal with...

Anyway, I really don't see their relationship lasting much longer to be honest. They fight NON STOP and it's because Shelly gets mad at the stupidest smurf and I can tell my sis is getting tired of it too.

They just got married in August... These are not the types of "problems" newly weds should be having....
