Contractions?

I'll be 38 weeks on Tuesday (that's also when I go get my cervix checked again)
I had it checked on Friday and I was 2-3 cm dilated and 70% effaced.
Today I have been having a lot more pressure on my pelvic bone and a lot more back pain.
I get contractions here and there but they aren't consistent.
This is my first pregnancy so I don't know exactly what to look for.
Please help, but no rude comments. (:

You'll know when it's time to go to the hospital, IMO.

youll just know, when you can time them 2-3 min apart go in or if your water breaks call L&D but trust me you will know what your body is doing!!

I've been having a lot of BM's since yesterday.
I don't know if that has anything to do with labor.
And there are times, i feel i'm going to have a BM but i don't.
