I'm curious, would you believe a woman who calls you and says she is the other woman? Would you need proof of any sort? If so, what kind of proof?

I think it would depend on the situation. If my DH had been acting shady as hell and the two of us were having a pretty bad rough patch, then I probably wouldn't need any more proof. If our marriage was absolutely perfect and there were absolutely no signs of cheating, then yeah I'd probably need something else to go on. I would be asking her how often/how long it had been going on though. Either way, I'd still be confronting him about it before leaving/doing anything too drastic.

Yeah, I wouldn't believe it if a woman were to call me tonight or tomorrow saying that she was his mistress, to be honest.

Honestly, I think I would start laughing. It's hard to think of DH having the time or desire to do something so sneaky lol.

I would break off the relationship first and foremost. Then yes I would tell her, it's not fair that I got to find out he was a cheating smurf but she's still in the dark about it.

Yes, because I would absolutely want to be told if my SO was cheating on me. No one deserves to be cheated on and not know about it and who knows how much longer he'd cheat with other people before she found out or he told her.

Right now, I wouldn't. However if there was already that concern (him acting shady, me finding evidence that points at cheating, etc) then I would ask for proof from her. My DH has a mole and birth mark right next to each other in a spot you would only see if you saw him butt naked.

I have been the other woman and yes I told her. I would want to know if I was her. Even though I told her she didn't believe me. He lied to her and told her I was some crazy that was stalking him. 

They still bother me and I just put harrassment charges on him yesterday.

i dont think she did say that she didn't know...
