I know, but me and him were friends first and I've witnessed it. I'm not stupid

I wouldn't tell her because that directly puts me in the middle of their smurf. I would WANT to say something but I firmly believe in what you do in the dark with eventually come to light.

Girl, that is messed up. I wouldn't want to start a relationship like that. He'll probably do the same to you. If he was unhappy, he should have left her. Not cheated.

I would break off the relationship but no I wouldn't tell her, it's not my responsibility to do that.

Oh yeah cos no guy that was cheating has ever said those exact same words before........   You also said YOU made him choose and LUCKILY he chose you, if he was so unhappy and she was so bad he would have happily walked out without anyone having to make him and you wouldn't have needed luck cos he wouldn't have wanted to be with someone like that anyway it would have been a given. I don't think you sound too lucky at all to be honest but that is just my opinion.

You don't know the whole story and yes luckily because I feel lucky to have him he's a great SO and father. They were on and off and he was going to leave her regardless I just happened to fall in the picture

I don't think he will. I'm not proud that he cheated cuz that was his choice I was just answering OP

No I wouldn't even if the guy pissed me off. I've been the other woman before and I won't let it happen ever again. The guilt is horrible.  

think the wife or girlfriend has a right to know. If he is cheating with you even if you break up with him he will cheat again and if the wife or girlfriend does not know he could bring home STD's. Some guys do not show any symptoms but they pas it to their sexual partners.

I would tell because *I* would want to be told.

If she doesn't want to know the truth about her man, that isn't my problem. She can go ahead & think I am a liar then & go back to denial I guess.

Since I am married & been with my Dh for ages (20 yrs) - I don't see this being an issue though. I can't foresee me dating any time at all let alone any time soon.

I would end it immediately and try to tell his wife/gf. Whether they were married or just exclusively dating makes no difference. And kids would not make me more or less likely to tell.
