pot day before c section?

anyone who smoked while pregnant, did you smoke the day before your c section?

i smoked all the way through the my first pregnancy and once in a while my second. not at all so far this time.

Haven't myself, but know lots who have and am sure plenty do. I don't think it's much of a concern, personally. Unless in the U.S and worried about testing.

My friend smoked cigarettes, not sure if its the same.

This is why I didn't smoke.
I stopped as soon as I found out and at my first appt. they asked me and I told them I WAS smoking but quit. Then they still had to have a social worker come talk to me about it in the hospital because I tested positive on that one test.

with my daughter I never got tested, im not sure why some people get tested.

There is always that chance u take by smoking before baby is born that thy might drug test. I smoked the whole pregnancy with my 3rd but stopped in time for our system to be clean. It just depends on if u wanna chance them on testing.

you should tell your nurse/ doctor about everything you are taking/ smoking because of possible drug interactions. smoking can affect surgical outcomes as well.....

weird, they never tested me or any of my babies. but my doctor knows i smoke, or more regularly vape. she actually recommends it for nausea before she prescribes anti nausea meds.
