Awkward

Now that I'm single, I have so many questions. How do I tell someone about my kids? For example some guy comes up and says oh lets go out, should I say oh well I have two kids? Should I wait for the first date. This is co confusing.

I have other concerns but I can't think of everything right now

my child always came up in the very begining... if not on the 1st encounter then definitely while talking on the phone... thats not something i would wait to tell somene about.

If the subject hasn't come up yet, ask him. "Do you have any kids?" wait for his answer and its always automatic they ask you right back. You can ask on a date, phone conversation, whatever. Just don't go and date him for a few weeks and finally say "hey, I got kids, surprise" lol. (not saying you would)

if someone asked me that I'd casually slip it in there like well let me see if I can get a baby sitter or something like that

Thanks ladies, I definitely don't plan on waiting but I find it weird. That's a LOT. I have TWO kids, blah. I have always been up front and all of friends and new coworkers are aware of my situation.

I don't think I have ever been in that perfect strangers random date situation. So I am hoping that if I start dating its through mutual friends.

Just admit it right off.
