Christmas Tree

I have a crawling climbing 1 year old...any suggestions to keep her away from the tree? I never leave her unattended but our tree really cut up her dads hands am I'm afraid it will hurt her too...not to sound gruel but would one poke keep we away? I'm putting baby proof decorations in the bottom so she could play with them of she wanted...

Don't encourage her to play with them. Try to arrange the furniture to keep it out of reach, or buy a baby playard gate thing. I never used one, I don't know their proper name lol

We had to put a dog gate around our tree when my son was that age.

The lights were just too alluring.

DS surpringly hasn't even attempted anything with ours. We sat him in front of it and he touched it but then nothing. Hasn't tried to play with the ornaments either.

We're putting it up tonight so maybe we will just do that and If need be gate it up its going in a corner so it would be easy to do! Thanks ladies!!
