Stabbing

It feels like someone is stabbing me, right above my pubic bone, a little to the right. It's not constant, only every now and then, and its a series of stabbing pains. It hurts, but it's really only for like a few minutes at a time. I went to the er this past Friday for bleeding and back pressure. The bleeding stopped completely, but the back pressure is ridiculous.

I'm gonna call my dr tomorrow, but I have to work tonight. Any ideas on how to alleviate it for 8 hours? Is it okay for me to work? I'm not on bed rest or anything, but the stabbing is new, and I've had 4 miscarriages in the past, so everything freaks me out. I don't wanna go to the er, because I feel like I've lived there lately, and it's usually just me overreacting.

Suggestions?

Do they know your reason for bleeding? Are you sure the back pain is not related?

They said I had a little bit of an infection...I didn't know that could cause bleeding, but I guess it can. I'm not 100% sure the back pain isn't related, because all they did was a pelvic, and with my history, the issue hasn't always been visible by pelvic exam...sometimes it takes an ultrasound. But my OB was closed Friday for the holidays, so I haven't spoken to her yet.

Sounds like you need a follow up appointment w/ the pain issue and to take the night off if you can. I would rest until could get back in to be re-check!
