happy holidays vs merry christmas

Which do you say? And does it bother you when someone says merry christmas over it?

I say Merry Christmas and no it doesn't bother me what other people say

I say BOTH! No upsetting me!

I say merry Christmas.. but I recently started working at a daycare so I'm working on saying happy holidays in front of the kids

I say Merry Christmas purely out of habit, but I prefer Happy Holidays, doesn't bother me at all what someone else says.

Say both. I typically say 'happy holidays' at work, but sometimes I'll say them both at work (I waitress). Doesn't bother me what others say

I always say Merry Christmas, but I dont get offended if someone says Happy Holidays.

I say both, happy holidays more I think only because christmas is one day a year lol but either way I don't get offended over what someone else wishes me

I say both. I don't get offended, no matter which a person says and I've never had someone tell me they were offended by either/or.

I say both but I say Happy Holidays on the lesser side and I only say that when I don't know the person or if they say it to me first. At work though I always say Merry Christmas, I work at a Christian daycare.

I usually say "Happy Hanukkah!" People usually reply with "But I don't celebrate hanukkah," and I say "Neither do I!"

Whatever they say to me, I just say, "You, too!"
