Thanks. I am not asking him for much of anything just an offer would be nice or 1 day with him not even the whole day! I know he works and I know it's annoying but I work and have school and everything else. I mean it's not like I want him to be my little bitch or anything just step in once a couple of weeks.

yep, and for some reason thats hard for some to understand. asking for help from your man shouldnt be a crime, but some consider to it be lol if you want to take a day at the salon you should be able to, seeing as how you fulfill your daily role as stay at home mom every single day. even if you are alone and there happens to be time to relax for yourself....SAHM sounds like the most thankless job sometimes so you deserve what you can get, and damnit you better get it! lol

True. I don't know maybe it's all the holiday craze. Thanksgiving last week and DS b'day this weekend and then my b'day and Christmas. Then DH's gma in the hospital and doctors still saying she won't be home by Christmas and just been crazy. That's why I think I've been so crazy with a million and 1 things on my to do list

You might just have to spell it out for him. My dh is also a major best freak but had a maid growing up so he never cleaned up after himself. I told him I'm his wife, not his maid and the last I checked both his arms still worked so if he didnt want clothes all over the floor (his biggest pet peeve) then he better start putting his clothes in the basket when he changes. He didnt pick up on hints or anything else and begging him to help only worked for like a day. When dd came I snapped and told him I didn't make her alone and I'm not a single mom so there was no reason I was doing everything alone even though I'm a sahm (most yes but not all).

Yeah I was def angry when it happened (so it didnt go how it should have and I was really mean about it   ) but I've never had to ask him to help again and in fact he's offered to get up with dd or bath her or wash dishes. I got him a super awesome Christmas present to say thanks though   I think the big change came when he kept an eye on dd all day basically because I was busy so he did it all for a few days and now he understands that it's not easy lol

Great idea! Treat like a kid in the aspect of rewarding them. Hmm. Good plan.

OP it sounds like you just feel a little unappreciated. I am going through this also unfortunately so I have no advice. I hope things get better for you.

Yeah sounds like it. My kids tell me thank yo all the time but DH rarely says it. I just want to be loved. This rough patch came out of nowhere.
