Christmas gifts on a tiiiigiht budget

posted 25th Nov
I have my mom, dad and 17-year-old (cringe) brother who need gifts from me this year. While they say they don't "need" anything from me, they've done so much to help me out this year, I can't imagine not giving them anything, KWIM?
To say my budget is tight would be the most incredible understatement in the history of time.
I'm open to doing "home-made"/crafty-type things for them, but I'm not sure if the charm of that wears off if the gift-giver is older than six, ya know?
Also, I'm good at cooking/baking, but then there wouldn't be much element of surprise.
Just wondering if any of you creative ladies who might also be in the same boat have any ideas?
TIA!

I've seen BBQ rub in a jar gifts your dad might like, I'm sure your mom would be happy with a homemade gift, maybe a body scrub or something? And I'm not sure about your brother, but if you go on Pinterest there are tons and tons of gift ideas for everyone imaginable!

You could make your mom a wreath to hang on the house? That's what I'm doing for my grandma for Christmas. It's a peppermint wreath I found on Pinterest   Everything cost me around $10.

That'd be great, actually! Thanks!

Homemade gifts are awesome.. Pinterest is a great source, but be careful what you spend on supplies. You can seriously end up spending as much on supplies as you would if you just bought something.

Try Groupon, too!
In Baltimore, they just had a $20 gift card to Toys R Us, for $10...

I know that won't help you, but there may be something on there for them!
