re: induce labor

HAHAHAHAHA you think its painful..
wait until you are in labor from being induced and they tell you its not working so they send you into get a c sec and you have a baby who wast ready yet..

you dont have any reason to be induced so there is no reason to do so.. wait the time.

I'm not going to support a woman wanting to force her baby out before its ready to be born because her body hurts. Its called priorities. Which is more important? Baby's health or mommy's comfort?

I'm 32 weeks and in a smurf ton of pain. Doesn't mean I'm going to go asking my doctor to induce me at 37 weeks. Pain goes with pregnancy. Can't deal with it, don't get pregnant. It's always best for babies to come on their own no matter what kind of pain it causes you

My thoughts exactly. I'm not going to sit and argue why she should or shouldn't be induced. It's not up to me, it's not my baby, it's not my body, who the smurf am I to tell someone they are selfish for their decisions?

Really. I don't want to hear it lol. I had bruised and broken ribs at the end of my pregnancy so I really have no sympathy for OP. *shrugs* You suck it up as best as you can and get to your due date AT LEAST.

i had a hell of a time with my last pregnancy.. even had some heart problems.. and i was induced at 41 weeks.. but we did it because of the history of my last pregnancy but we waited and he didnt even bring it up until after 40 weeks.. and we went over pros and cons.. even with it being a week over.

I wasn't pointing fingers at anyone specifically. It just irks me sometimes the smurf some ladies get on high horses about, it's just very hypocritical. Can't stand hypocrits lol

um.. right now its not her uterus its being rented out by a human a little one but still human and its passed that point of being able to abort.. so not hers..

You can support her by giving her facts without judgement. You don't have to agree with her, but she shouldn't be scared to post her thoughts and get attacked for her curiosity. Yes, I hope she waits it out, I did even with HORRIBLE sciatica, and hard early labor contractions for days before my son was born... but she needs to hear why she shouldn't not that she's selfish for contemplating induction.

right. but she is now basically just being attacked and no one is giving her info anymore they're probably just making her feel really bad and scared to even comment back to thank the people who did give her information and helpful advice.

The drugs they give you to induce cause labor pain that is a million times worse. If I were you I would wait it out. Especially if this is your first baby and you've never experienced childbirth before...it HURTS. SO BAD. You can't possibly imagine something can hurt that bad until you're experiencing it. The least painful you can make it, the better. I'm not trying to scare you, I'm just saying, pitocin or mag is not your friend regarding labor pain.

are you smurfing kidding me? there where facts.. smurf they even have a thing for march of dimes about smurf like this. so no she is selfish for contemplating it this early on.. i could understand if there was a true medical reason or she was over due but nope.. its to much pain for her.. thats smurfing selfish..

Actually, I've seen women on here argue that babies in the womb are NOT human until they aren't dependent on your body to grow anymore... Which in a sense would also be calling newborns parasites as well right? Maybe you're not one of those women, but I've seen it all here lol it amazes me how stupid people actually are
