I don't want anyone else!

I have had a on again off again 5 year relationship with bd and it's off now and I'm trying to be strong enough for it to be for good but who knows anymore...
But I just don't feel like dating anyone! All guys creep me out and it just doesn't seem like something I wanna do! Is any other mommas feel like this?
Will it ever go away?

I've been there. It will go away with time. If you're not ready to date then don't. Take your time & use it to find you again. You will be happy without him in time & when you're ready you can start to date. There will be a day that you will meet someone & be happy that you stayed strong & gave that time to heal.

I always tell myself if SO and I break up I'm not even going to attempt to date. I just don't want to deal with men and their bs and it's so hard to find a decent one! At least around here it is extremely uncommon to find a good man. I rather just get my ass in gear and take care of my LO and be done. Stay strong pretty lady!!!

The way I see it that is actually a great thing. We all see women on here jump into relationships waaaaaaayyyyyy too quickly and set themselves (and their children, unfortunately) up for failure. You have a golden opportunity to date yourself for a while. Take steps to better your life, be it through work, school, solidifying parenting skills and your relationship with your LO, spending time with family, etc. Down the road when you are ready to date again, you'll be glad that you had this time to yourself--and you'll be better for it.

I literally could have written every single word. Im in the same boat. You're not alone. I feel like im going crazy because I still love BD. If I didn't I wouldn't care.

I'm not sure if I'm still in love with bd though...I guess maybe I do? But I want him to love me too, and to change.. I'm done giving him all my love for nothing in return :/ Life sucks.

I desperately want BD to change too but he won't. I also want him to love me the same way I love him. I hate thinking about him all the time
