Sounds just like my situation!! I also have to beg for money but i have to be a SAHM so have no choice i feel like im treated like a kid too

Yup. Have to do that to. And he doesn't understand that after spending all day every day in the house I want to get out and go somewhere and go do something. Hell half the time I would be content going to the mall and just walking around but he doesn't want to do that. And we live at least 30 minutes from anything....

You need to be independent and NOT depend on a man. This is what is wrong with society today. To many women depend on men. Get a job, get a car and be done.

It really wasn't my choice not to have a car or job. I used to work in retail and there is no money in it if you aren't manager. My car was a POS that I bought for $600 when I was 17 and since we weren't really using it and needed the money we sold it for $300. If I had a car I could find a full time job. But right now we pay $90 a week just for gas because he wanted to move to BFE that's an hour away from his job so we have no money for child care

You're in a seriously mentally abusive relationship. First he makes you completely dependent and then cuts you off from all outside interaction ... its like abusive smurf 101.

My friend is allowed to come hang out at my house but she lives 45 minutes away and can't afford the gas to come out here...

You would get emergency assistance, and most likely he would be force to find a place to live.

No no no. Do not blame your dependence on someone else. No one else will take control of your life for you. YOU have to. And plenty of people work in retail jobs
