Help?

Kay, so first off I'm on my iPod so sorry if things are kind of wonky
Anyway, I just went to the bathroom and peed for like 5 minutes...but because of past experiences I stayed there for a few minutes so I wouldn't be back there in 2seconds or pee when I stood up. When I was washing my hands some liquid came out and I've had a few strong contractions...everyone in the house is asleep so I figured before I woke anybody up for no reason I would get some opinions from mommas on here.
I'm 39 weeks as of yesterday and my doctor has already told me that she plans on inducing me next week if LO isn't here by then. I just don't wanna jump the gun

This might be weird but can u smell the liquid that came out? If it's odorless or sweet smelling then it's most likely your water.

Lay down flat for a few minutes and sit up. If you feel another fish, probably your water.

Are you having contractions?

There was no smell to the liquid...but there wasn't a whole lot of it either which is why I'm not sure. There was only maybe 2 tablespoons... I always thought there would be more when your water broke?

If I sit up I leak a little more... But only if I sit up. Laying down there's nothing

Sounds like a slow leak. Are you timing your contractions? I'd wake someone up.

If you are in labor, go ahead and get ready, pack your bag, and eat a meal. That should get you progressing and get you to the hospital (if you're going) in the right time frame.

Also, call l&d in advance, they can pre-register you and gives them a heads up.

Don't take a bath! If you need to, you can shower, but you don't want to bathe if you're leaking.

I've been timing them sort of...it's kind of hard because my back is really sore all herbs time so it's Hardish to tell when a new one starts sometimes...there not too close together yet.
Just packed my bag a couple of days ago actually haha but yeah...I'm thinking you're right. I'm gonna wake my mom up and see what she thinks I should do....

As for the bath thing, I just took a shower yesterday and cleaned up there with a wash cloth when it happened...so that I'm not worried about. Thank you for the advice

Haha, I shower before I go anywhere, cause I'm OCD and hate showering away from home. I'm excited for you! They won't let you eat til after baby, so go ahead and eat your last meal. Lol.

Haha I'm OCD about brushing my teeth before leaving the house...it's weird haha I'm excited too! I'm hoping I get my little man soon.
I'm gonna try to eat some leftover sweet potatoes... But sadly I haven't been able to hold almost anything down in 3 days   it sucks lol I'm gonna be starving after he's out lol

Thanks   just gotta wait for the contractions to cooperate, and then we're going in. I can't wait to hold him!

That's a sign of labor, too. Body is prepping. Update here soon.

Thats what my mom was telling me... So I've been keeping my fingers crossed.
I will definitely keep updating...even if nothing happens haha I've had like 6 or 7 contractions in the last hour or so...not enough to go in yet
