What age should I start thinking about having kids? What should I use for preparation in the future?

when do you think you will want to have kids?

if you're smart not until you graduate college, have a well paying career and are in a stable healthy relationship.

When you're 18+, married and stable. Until then, abstinence or birth control.

Maybe when you're not 16 or 17? Maybe when you're able to provide for your child and mature enough.

You're only 16...get a puppy for now. maybe babysit kids on the weekend...they're not as fun as you think.

Ideally when you are married, and have a decent, steady but really no one can tell you when the right time is for you.
ETA- At least wait until you are out of high school and on your own 2 feet!

Holy crap! Yeah not yet...you are too young! Wait until you are older...have fun, party a little (not hard just have fun), live a little. A baby will keep you from doing things you should be doing as a teen op.

I couldn't resist, it was too easy.

When you're married, financially and emotional stable. You don't want to struggle your whole life. You want to be in love, enjoy being in love. Then kids can come later.

My advise is after collage get a good job and work your way up and when you get far up in that company. While you work you way up work on buying a home and some cars. Then when you find a good man then think about a family.
