insomnia

posted 25th Nov
the first 2 trimesters were easy and then when it came down to my last 10 weeks or so smurf hits the fan. i can get past the new pains and everything annoying the living hell out of me, but can't seem to cope with the insomnia that came out of nowhere. its just been making things 10x worse. i was a really heavy sleeper before, and could fall back asleep easily if need be. now if the slightest thing wakes me up i'll be awake for hours after, leaving me even more tired the next day. i've been trying to drink some sleepy/ calming tea but it can only work for so long. sometimes when i get woken up i just want to explode and punch someone in the face.
sorry for ranting guys =/

I barely slept during my second and third tri. Towards the very end, I was tired all. the. time. But sleep failed me at night, still.

Then Lo was born. So no sleep there either -_-

Luckily, after a lifetime of insomnia and then the pregnancy-insuced insomnia, it completely went away about 3 months PP

I feel for you! That's how I am. My poor husband has been sleeping on the couch for the last few weeks cuz I'm such a light sleeper. It may or may not get better. For me it did get better after my son was born. Breastfeeding him helped me relax and go back to sleep. Since I've been pregnant this time its been worse again. Hoping it gets better after next week, though ill be up breastfeeding again, so my husband can come back to bed.

Mine is bad, too. When I finally get comfortable enough to go to sleep, I have to pee, then I'm thirsty, then he's wiggly and kicks to hard, then I have to pee again.
