Quoting ModernMan'sHustle ♥:" I thought so, even at that time when I knew nothing about pregnancy I thought she couldn't. I was only ... [snip!] ... I was only 10 weeks...that clinic was hell on Earth. I feel bad for any woman who has to go through the process there."
It makes me so mad and sad when I read about this. You should be treated with respect when you have any procedure done! They have no right to be mean. IMO they are more mean in states that are more Pro-life. I am so sorry this happened to you and any other women who had to be treated bad.
I had an abortion and I was treated very well. I just called and mad an appointment, they saw me a few days later(I did not have to have multiple appointments). The nurse said "I have to do an ultrasound now so I can see what is going on, but you will not be able to see or hear what I am doing and she made sure I could not see or hear it. The whole time she talked to me and tried to distract me.
When the dr came in he was nice. I was going to be put to sleep and the Dr said "before we put you under do you have any questions." I said just please don't hurt me I want babies some day" He held my hand and said "I will take very good care of you"
Then the nurse came and held my hand while I got put to sleep. They were all VERY nice. Some employees told me about how they had abortions and it was a good choice for them(I wondered if they were making it up)
After I even had a nurse sitting with me until I could get up and walk around and she helped me to change and get out to my ride.( I was in too much pain to walk)
This was not the best experience of my life but the people were very nice to me and made me feel like I could call back and talk any time. That is how it should be for all women.
