Okay for LO christmas gift we are making him a couple of this one will be a "theater" that will look similar to this



It will have signs to make it a hospital, a veterinary clinic and a police station complete with a kit of DIY stuff themed for each one. (will add more "stations" as the years go by..

ANYWAYs.. I'm not particulary feeling the white... however I don't want to do a color per say because for example the hospital sign will be cordinated to blue and white and so will the police station, however if I end up adding a firefighter station and the sign was red and white it wouldn't match if I had say a blue background..

soo I found these fake brick panel things fairly cheap so in your opinion do you like
a. just paint it white
b. ignore the random lady painting it and the white part..


or c.
distresed white




I want it to look like an outside of a building I think... and want it to match the "stations" I have and anything I feel like adding in the future like shoe store, fire station, toy shoppe, ice cream parlor, a restaurant etc.. (just to name a few)

I like the white brick.

I like the distressed more, I fear it would rub off with use though?
What about chalkboard paint? Theres another idea.

I would paint it like red bricks.

I want the texture if I'm going to do it bricks.. The panels are fairly cheap especially with the coupons I have.. Like I'm talking about 10.00 and a whole lot of time saved..

oh lol yea LO is 4.. so he pretty much knows not to.. I'd probably seal it as well...

if I were to leave them the natural red what color would I do the shelf/
